From the minute the dates were announced I was waiting for the punch line.

Would the news report go something along the lines of?:

Concert goers seeking a Thriller have been left bemused by poor organisation and a lack of shows. One 'person' lucky enough to snap up tickets explained

"He said he wanna be startin' something but he hasn't shown up. I think it's his human nature but he pretends he's a smooth criminal, whereas he's bad he's bad and he knows it."

Critics suggest Jackson takes a hard look at the man in the mirror, remembers the time his fans gave him one more chance and suggest he's got to be there for his next show. His many fans however will be asking 'will you be there?'

Saw the Manics at Camden Roundhouse last night, they were very good.

Did the whole of the new album (which is their best for some time) first, then rolled through the hits after that, and a couple of ones they don't play so often.
