if it's tipping it down with rain, do you you get less wet if you run, or if you walk?

i really don't know.

and also, if you're running you'll hit the rain drops harder which will make a bigger splash and make you wetter.

If you walk chances are it will stop raining in a few minutes, also if you run you might trip over and fall in a puddle or die.

I always thought there was no difference, obviously within limits (if you're walking silly slow then obviously you spend alot of time in the rain and get wetter). I believed this due to a large amount of rain that can be considered static (down to the density of rain). Therefore, like others have mentioned, you run into the same rain that would hit you provided you walked at normal speed. This also brings into question the rate the rain is falling, but you can always consider this on a density basis.

Anyway i then decided to do some research. Yes, i'm that sad.

Rather annoyingly the results showed that when you run you get less wet. And that my inquisitive friends is the answer.
