I've never been dragged along - My dad used to take me occasionally but I was never encouraged to support Swindon!
Since my dad ditched Swindon for Chippenham in about 1998 I've been going on my own. Bastard. Same with me but my dad just doesn't like Football at all. Don't think he's ever seen swindon play.

You old man.
My first game was home to Plymouth on Boxing Day in '89. I remember nothing except the fact Shilton was their amnager, I have the programme somewhere.
Wasn't 89 then as Shilton was playing for Derby then. He became Plymouth manager in 92.

It would appear that my first game was 18th December 1993, home to Southampton. A 2-1 victory Weirdly, i can't remember it at all despite being 9 years old, but i do remember the Wimbledon game later on that season, when Vinnie Jones climbed up on the roof of the hut at the front of the Arkells (nearest the Bank) to fetch the ball Went sporadically for a few seasons, then got my first season ticket for the McMahon promotion season

...and John Fashanu scored from 25 yards in his red boots back when only he had red boots.
I was a big gladiator fan at time which Fash presented, so my dad took my down the tunnel to meet him before the game.
