Been waiting patiently and patiently, but had a phone call today to say that the vacancy has been withdrawn temporarily, no mention of timescale or anything.
Pretty pissed off about it because it would have mended a lot of bridges at home at the moment.
But in all honesty the longer I waited the more I felt that it was not going to happen.
Have spoken to my Director who has had brilliant feedback from the presentations I made etc etc, and he has offered me a National role in something that I really enjoy and excel in. The money is really good but I am very wary that I am going to go back in time when I spent 4/5 nights a week living in a hotel.
I dont think, after all of my late nights working on other stuff that the family are going to take kindly to that.
I basically lived in a hotel up in Hull for 5/6 years, and the reason I left that position was that Jenna was starting school and needed me around.
Well Jenna starts Kingsdown next summer, and I am just worried that I am not going to be here again for her and Lisa
Im pretty confused really.
The money would mean that we can do the things we want to do, when we want to do them.
But at what price ?
