There are several options for security, do the encyption thing only for now. You need to do as ben said and go to 192.168.0.1 (type this into the address bar, like you would a normal website). There should be menu that displays on screen. If you find the option for encryption you should have the option of making a password using ASCII keys (like a normal password). Make a password.

You will then need to access your network card settings on your pc and do the same there. That way the network card tells the router the password and it can connect.


Btw, another useful thing to know is that internet service providers do tend to throttle speed at peak times. If I download between 4pm and midnight my speed is shit but outside of those hours it flies.

I entered that address. And it asked me for a password/username. Does it mean i have a encryption setting? I did do a password once,I think, it's written down somewhere  :?
