I don't normally watch big brother, in fact I only watch the celeb one as it's on in jan and I usually do no pub in Jan, so have to occupy my time somehow.

Jade and Danielle have to be two of the thickest (or thickset in Jades case) bints to ever grace (?) a television.

Hopefully C4 will rig the vote to get rid of her (Jade), as if they don't perhaps the program will get pulled because of the amount of complaints.

I've hardly watched this series but I did watch last night to see what all the fuss was about.

All I saw was a screaming contest (won by Jade - no contest) over, of all things, oxo cubes OXO CUBES FOR FUCK SAKE! It was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. Shilpa didn't need to mention it the first place and Jade didn't need to carry it on to ridiculous lengths. Most importantly though, the argument had NOTHING to do with race whatsoever.

Yes, I know the scouser said something (not directly to the girl) about fucking off home or something but she was very sheepish and apologetic about it when questioned about it later in the diary room.

Yes, there is any obvious clash between Jade and Shilpa but as has been said elsewhere, it is a clash of class and cultures (and Jade not having two brain cells to rub together and being a bit of a phsycho). It is not Shilpa's race as such which is causing the conflict.

As for the other girls, they're siding with Jade because they're shit scared of her and I can't say I blame them. It will all change when Jade leaves on Friday.

The tabloid press are a total disgrace, talking about 'race wars' and such like. The media should get a fucking grip as they are doing far more to encourage race hatred than Jade fucking Goodie. Unfortunately though, sensational headlines sell papers and magazines and boost TV ratings.

It actually makes me very angry. You can say, "it's only a crappy TV show" which it is, but it also reflects the fucked up society we live in and I don't like it one little bit.

Well I am commenting on what I saw. Teddy Sheringham's bird said she should fuck home but did not actually say it to her directly (no that does not make it alright but it is not quite the same) and she was subsequently very contrite about the matter. Maybe some one else told her to fuck off etc, if so I did not see it.

Yes, some things have been said which have racist implications much to the discredit of the people involved but the fact that she is Asian is not the cause of the conflict.

I've watched it all and am of the opinion that there is certainly an element of racism involved although it has been exaggerated by the media.
