According to TS tonight, he has not been released, evidently it was a mix up in translation.

However, if he has serious aspirations of a swangsong for his country he needs to come home

If Ole Golden Balls goes anywhere else apart from La Liga, Serie A or the Premiership I reckon thats it for MR Becks. Career over.

I'd like to think he won't go to the likes of Qatar or anywhere for a big payday, as i doubt he needs the cash.

For my money, he'll end up in the USA so Posh can try and get into movies.

It's make or break for him, if he goes to the States its a total concession that his top level career is over, and he wouldn't get in the team there they've got migzy Wink

Beckham playing alongside Miglioranzi  Cheesy

What odds would you've got on that bet a few years ago

He'll never play for England again now. What're the chances of him playing for the USA?

They would probably give him citizenship due to his iconic stature.

Should do well as Migs understudy. "Stef, give Becks a run for the last 5 minutes please".

£103million!?!?!?!

The USA has one of the best (IMO) pay structures in football, the average wage being only $60,000 a year (£40,000).

It's just going to spiral now and end up like Premiership pay standards.

bizarre ain't it, 12 months ago stef was playing in a shit team struggling in league one surrounded by players like pook and fallon whilst beckham was playing in the champions league alongside ronaldo, zidane et al.

the mind boggles.

good luck to him, he'll get slated for how much he's getting paid but you can't really blame him for it!
