millom .... I am an Independent (wouldn't touch any of the parties at a local level in my area) on a town council (equivalent of a parish council just for a slightly bigger population).  So hardly anything to be seen as significant .. and certainly not ambitious! ..... I am in my 50s and have a day job too ... and having almost served my first 4 year term ... I have serious doubts about whether I will stand again..... oh and even if I was ambitious .... STFC would not help me with that ambition in any way as it is too far from Marlborough to be of any relevance to politics in my town.. and I am not able to be a politician in Swindon as I live outside the permitted boundaries!!

Finally .... yes I will still criticise the Trust Board when they make abusive comments about MikeD or other members of the Board .. as personally I think it does them no credit and brings them down to the same level as those within the club who choose to do the same.   Supporters I have spoken with (the ones that do not support the Trust) have said many times that it is that abuse/hostility that puts them off the Trust ...... just as abuse from the club puts people off the present Board and their associates ... I think that Trust members and other fans seem to be more than capable of keeping the abuse going if that is what people want ... but for Trust Board members to conduct themselves with a tad more dignity would (I think) do an awful lot of good for the cause they are supporting.

Anyay ..... time to get ready for Palace ..... something we can all agree about methinks!!
