To quote Fred in the pub afterwards "I'm 43, I've got 4 kids, but they threw me out, I am a trouble maker"

the thing that cracked me and dex up were we were stood in the pub before the game and you were joking with the Franchise fan and then suddenly we noticed you were eye balling them, proper funny....especially the wanker signs!!!
I recall you getting me in trouble after the city away game, she still doesnt belive it was you who got me drunk that day.....hence why I will never go again with you

Oh and Zoe asked if Fred was my dad on the way to the ground. I think that's because he had his arm round me proping himself up. Proper ace. Fred - you had that bottle of Tia Maria with you all day

The stuff you want on a cold away day is Bene n Hot.....I discovered this some years ago on a trip to Burnley. Being a CIU member I went in one of the Working Men's Clubs...and all the gnarled norvern locals were firing this down their necks, in preparation for the norvern sub arctic conditions. Its Benedictine liquor and with hot water....apparently its a Lancs thing....soldiers based in France in WW1 discovered it kept you going in the trenches warding off illness etc. Those that got back, discovered conditions in the mill towns were similar to the trenches so carrie don the tradition, which survives to this day.
