How come we wore red shorts on Saturday?
Can we buy them in the club shop, cos they look better than white.

I didn't understand that either. Maybe the white ones clashed with Torquay's blue like Stockports blue shirts clashed with our red, so they had to change to yellow?!

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

Reg as alway is right.

We play in:

RED shirts

WHITE shorts

RED socks

ALL RED IS RUBBISH!!!!!

I think we sometimes play in all red away from home just to save on wear and tear on the white shorts.

If we wear all red at home next season I will never watch STFC ever again!

Agree with OST.  Apart from the never watch STFC again bit, I think that's taking things a little too far, but that's OST for you a very head strong man.  Maybe a sit in would be more effective in our struggle against the all red brigade, or a hunger strike, something along those lines.

Red and white army!!  No surrender to the reds.

Bristol City - Nicknamed the Robins; play in all red kit; cannot get out of this division.

Swindon Town - Nicknamed the Robins; play in all red kit; cannot get out of this division.

We had to fight a lengthy rearguard action, in the 70's against the imposition  of black shorts......the unrest generated by this and exacerbated by the three day week, led to an average gate loss of 5, to 6000 by 73/74, happily the Board saw sense, and reinstated white for 74/75, when although a thousand refuseniks returned, for 4000+ it was a breach of tradition too far.

Those were the days, when men weren't frightened to stand up for what they believe in.  Some traditions are worth keeping, like in Iran where the wife is not allowed to refuse her husband sex.  Real laws for real men.

So you'll be joining us in the military action against the occupying forces of the CG then Reg if the Red Army win the battle for kit domination?

In the late 60's I had a deal of sympathy for the Baader Meinhof Red Army Faction, mainly because posh rebellious birds liked to hang their knickers on the  lefty youth  bed post.......but with age comes wisdom.......I'd prefer to go down the legal route......take out an injunction on Roger the Kit man.......ensuring the sequestration of his assets if he transgresses again.

Well done Reg, that has to be the first time the word "sequestration" has been used on this or any other football website anywhere in the world!
