Toss up between Ardiles and Hoddle. Hoddle gets it for actually doing it on the pitch in a red shirt and scoring one of the best individual goals I've ever seen by a Town player.
And that was Sunderland at home, in case you weren't there.
That goal was ace. He scored in first and last game of the season. Genius!
Granted he was one of the best (If not the best) Players we've ever had, but as a manager I'd go for Ardiles everytime. He also stuck with us when we were denied our rightful place in the top flight.
Anyone remember what Hoddle did just after we got promotion?
