I think he will keep is the same as last week bar Smith in for Lonergan.

Saturday will be mainly assement from Sturrock, they expect changes for the Torquay game.

If I was manager Id pick the following team

Smith

Smith
Ifil
Williams
Nicholas

Onibuje
Pook
Evans
Brown

Peacock
Brownlie

Subs: Stewart, Vincet, Roberts, Weston, Jutkiewicz

I'd go with Shakes on the right (stay wide), and Brown wide left.

4-3-3 from Carlisle, leaves gapping spaces for a left/right winger, as long as they hug the line.

And Fola up front, pace will win this one...

Not sure what you do with fola! He's got something more than pace and height! I just aint figured him out yet!

I'd go 5-3-2 with the fullbacks bombing on, evans linking play with brown and Weston buzzing around.

Smith

Smith
Ifil
Williams
Nicho
Brown

Weston
Evans
Pook

2 from Roberts, Peacock, Fola

Bench. one of the 3 above + Lucas, Stewart,  Shakes, Vincent or Whalley if fit.

It wont happen but Northern is right about Carlisles 4-3-3 so who knows?

I'm fed up of strikers on wings. Sorry, but every single striker with pace ends up on the wing at this club, it seriously hindered Thierry Henry's career for a while at Juventus and altho not on the same scale, I think that could be happening here

If we had somebody being kept out of the side who could score goals I would humbly accept this point

no, your point was Henry was wasted out on the wings.

my point was, he was only wasted on the wings because he was such a good finisher.

Fola is not a good finisher like Henry, but can take a player on, has a bit of skill and a decent cross on him.

Which to me, makes him an ideal winger. If he could score like Henry they I wouldnt dream of playing him on the wing....but he doesnt.

I'd rather see him creating chances down the right (which he has already done well this season) for the likes of Peacock, Roberts etc
