Vi er best i verden! Vi er best i verden! Vi har slått England 2-1 i fotball!! Det er aldeles utrolig! Vi har slått England! England, kjempers fødeland. Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, Lady Diana--vi har slått dem alle sammen. Vi har slått dem alle sammen. Bit harsh, STA. Credit wasn't given to the RAF when the signing was made (which could be simply down to confusion in the rush), now it's been put right. Fair play to the club for rectifying the mistake, don't see that as grovelling.

But mr ian's spot on about the cheque  Cheesy

just the fact that it takes them ages to actually say where the funds came from. Wouldnt suprise me if the only reason they mentioned it was coz they read on here that they hadnt said anything!

Or am I, after years of supporting a team run by morons, getting cynical?

Actually, I think it's in the terms and conditions laid down between the RAF and the club.

Well done REF for getting the player on loan.

Did they let a local school fill the cheque out though?

Yes, and thoroughly enjoyed it by all accounts. IIRC it was in the programme, but I may be wrong on that.
