Is he the best ever player to play for Swindon.
I think he was the only Swindon player to play for England at the same time.

I was just looking back in Swindon's history. I didn't know he played for England.
I am quite amazed.

I think more should be done to remember are past players.
He scored 9 out of 11 appearances for England I think.
Wonder if Reg has ever met this bloke?

There is a statue of Harold in the reception at STFC, also Fleming Way was named after him......when England played Scotland in 1912, I think, Jock Walker of STFC was playing  for Scotland and Harold for England......Billy Silto was 12 th man for England...but there were no subs and he wasn't needed.

Don't remember Harold, but he had a sports shop in Comercial Road, which his daughter continued to run after his death.

Jock Walker had a chip shop corner of Manchester Road, and Corporation Street , and he used to serve in it into his 70's, as a kid returning from an away game by train, I'd go in for chips and a chat about the game.
