I can't believe people are still harping on about Macari FFS! Move on, he's not managed for years!

Ridiculous idea.

I'm not sure Macari is the answer either to be honest.. legend that he is.

My 1st choice would be Sturrock..

Sturrock or Dave Penny for me mate.

macari stuck to a plan that was succesful at the time.how do we know he would play hoof ball now?
he was doing well at huddersfield under constraints when last in a job.was given the boot with the team doing well.
for all the names being mentioned he wins by a mile in my opinion.
that was back in the war though arriba.we are looking at 20 years ago if he had stayed in the game i would be more for lou coming back but the fact he is still out the game suggests there could be a good reason why

How about nicking a manager off a smaller club, it's happened to us often enough over the years... Macari - West Ham, Ardiles - Newcastle, Hoddle - Chelsea, W*se - Leeds...

Who's Lincoln's manager?

Don't think anyone would leave a job to come to us, unless they were small time. That and we wouldn't be able to afford compo.

Has to be someone out of work, i.e someone like Penney, Hoddle, Sturrock - someone like that.
