Regarding Williams taking over ...

When we played Supermarine .. as Wisey was playing he let Aidy take the prematch coaching session which was carried out right in front of me next to the dugouts ...

Seemed to do ok but I think he would struggle to command the respect that Wisey had as a manager if he took over full time ... even tho hes captain hes still relatively new himself at the club ... remembering that BIG RON thing Steve Bleasdale had a similar problem when converting from coach to manager .. mind u he was a total idiot!

Its a bloody big worry for Saturday as basically the players will be managing the team really ... and its a big game !

Caton should be given the job as he's spent so long injured over the past few years, it'll be a good tonic for him and a chance to see if he has another career alternative if the injuries keep coming.

It'll be like getting yourself motivated for a Sunday League game - there actually won't be anybody to analyse what we're doing and change tactics/instructions/make subs.

Reckon Diamandis could do a job?

Maybe he shoudl pop down to office angels and throw this someting in the window...

Perhaps that what he has been planning all along....
Football manager just isn't cutting it for him anymore, he needs a bigger rush.....
All part of his grand design.

I think they approached him and he turned it down.  Said something about a minor dislike of the board...

Good shout on Gurney ... but it appears Paul Evans might be the assistant .. might still be injured i guess .. surely as vice captain Christian Roberts should be doing that? Tongue
