monky starts against cardiff, but no ince?

no smith or wise either, so anyone hoping they'd start at notts county may have misplaced optimism...

Yeah but when you're Wisey's mate you can just walk into the team.

Maybe Shakes should start bumming Wise and he'd get back on the wing.

The official site report is great - apparently Monkhouse was substituted at half time, yet somehow had a header just off target 10mins into the 2nd half!! :-))(

I'd say the fact he did come off at half time though is a good indication he'll be involved in some capacity on Saturday!  Smiley

CCP Picked up a knock tho ... pleased to see young sub Tom Ahmed get one .. I was chattin to him at the last home reserve game .. he seems a keen young lad willing to listen to the advice i had to offer .. for what its worth .. but he got a goal so maybe it helped!

Decent result today....I agree that Ince needs fitness but when you are not fit is it reasonable to play 3 games in a week? You can't just play and play and play and magically get fit, players need rest too!

Even the best players can't play twice a week, week in week out at full fitness....

It makes sense that Ince didn't play today though.

It's in his contract that he gets Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays off. I know this is true because Bart told me.

disagree about smith- he's young and fit and playing regularly, he may not be ready for tonight but if he's fit to play on saturday he should still have no problem with match fitness.
