And the rest! For a defensive midfielder, the defensive side of his game is pretty awful. He lost midfield runners numerous times on Saturday, and any ball that is less than 70-30 in his favour goes unchallenged.

Smithy still shit Monty?  Or are you a convert?

I'm slowly being converted, although he was decent rather than great on saturday.

Also when Ooolet plays like that whoever plays alongside cant help but look good

That's 111 minutes without a goal for him now!

Hewlett was back to his laughable crappy performance. That guy really gets me wound up.

I've just watched the match highlights courtesy of one of the other threads and I have to say that it's positively embarassing watching their goal.

As their goalscorer bursts into the box and buries the ball past Evans you see Hewlett flapping along about 5 yards adrift of his man.

The guy could tread water for England !

hehe. judging by the state of the pitch he would be perfect. I think the team are gonna need some extra time in the pool if its not sorted out soon!

It was only replaced last season for a considerable chunk if I remember.  I know the drainage was off a tad but it was never quite as bad as it was Saturday.

Where's that Triseros?
