I'm sorry Ben, didn't realise people felt quite so strongly about it. :shock:
I didn't put much thought in, obviously, and did consider asking one of the mods to change it to Chris. But before I got round to it, we had a member with this username. If it would make you feel better I'll ask for it to be changed. Sorry i did go on a bit of a rant and you were an easy target. Don't change your name. You've made it yours now, a bit like STFC Village did. It was just one of those things which seemed a bit stupid. Hopefully any people thinking of signing up will just call themselves something catchy like uglyGoatFace or DooreIsACuntIts nice to know I'm always in people's thoughts, it would be a great honour to have a new member incorporate my name in to theirs. |

I can even understand the thought process behind naming yourself after a band, it can be difficult to think up a name when suddenly given the username option when signing up and if you make the name your own (if someone says "sonic youth" to me, my first thoughts aren't of the band). i misread that and thought you were dissing me, i've changed my name for nothing. |
