Although there will be many crunch games in the remainder of the season, I do believe that tomorrow's match will set the scene for the rest of the 2004-5 season.  If we fail to win and City and Brentford collect three points we can kiss the play offs goodbye, and all start supporting Hartlepool.  We win and we're still in race for the prize which eluded us so cruelly last May.

I hope the lads put in a decent performance and record the 2-0 victory that I am willing to predict.  Slobber and Purkin to get the goals.

Its a fair point that its a make or break game in many ways.

Lets just hope the lads pull thier fingers out of thier collective arses and play like they can do.

My prediction: 2-1 swindon. Last minute parkin winner

Barnsley are 13 games unbeaten, including 6 away from home. Tough game so not sure.

It's a winnable game and we do HAVE to win.

However, we have now got to the stage of the season where IF we do win, we have realistcally knocked Barnsley out of the promotion equation.

I've had a look at Brentford's fixtures over the next month and they are tough.  That, combined with the fact that they are still in the Cup means that they are bound to drop points and in any games they do win, it's a fair chance they will be taking points from our other rivals.

Anyway.  Cut to the chase.

A seemingly comfortable 2-0 half time lead (when we sould have had 6) will get whittled down to 2-1 in the 58th minute and we will be hanging on until the 7th minute of injury time.

My prediction:
2-1
(Smith, Holmes)

P.S. Chopra is out: RESULT!

A draw would put a charge for the play offs looking less likely.  We need to string a few victories together, and if we can win three games in a row we ain't gonna be climbing the table.  Therefore some people, rightly or wrongly will not be happy.

But only a right twat would shout 'We want Kingy out' at 0-0 v Stockport, we're playing quite well and Igoe crosses rather than go for goal.  About five minutes later we were 3-0 up.

They haven't lost since november, a win would be great but it's hardly the sort of game we should be expecting an easy win from.

Only a complete monger would expect an easy win against anyone.

That's not the same as saying the game is 'winnable'.

Whatever, we have to win or else we're fucked.
