Turkey is ace. Fethtiye is great, nothing like water dolmus over to Calis Beach, beer was just under 50p a pint when I went!  Efes is great  Beers

I hear Marmaris is nice this time of year.

Efes is indeed lush. I lived on Efes/49p fryups, and 3 course steak meals at £3 a pop all week.

Shame about the bombs :|

I would carry on but I'm scared I'll take it too far. The joke ends.

A couple of friends went there recently, they reckon the whole place was great even the public transport blew them away.

Anyone been got any recommendations etc?

I was supposed to hit burning man in Vegas last week but due to a lack of priorities the lads that were organising it cried off.  Relationship and being sacked being the respective reasons, tried to tell them to get their priorities straight but the useless bastards wouldn’t listen.

Leaves me with holidays to burn and I need a nice week on the cheap beer somewhere.

Only doubts over Budapest is the dirty reputation it seems to be getting for being the new Blackpool stag and hen alternative.

I went last year. Spent most of the hol in some "Irish" bar run by a dutch bloke getting pissed. It's a nice place ...

Oh yeah, on public transport front, buy one bus ticket ... don't buy one for each journey. You're supposed to stamp them on the machines in the buses. Don't ... Just keep it and stamp if if an inspector hoves into view. The fine for avoidance is the price of a week's bus tickets ... cheap as ... was there a week and didn't get tickets checked once.

I went last September, I liked it alot. Depends what type of sight seeing you're in to but there are plenty of bars to drink down town Vaci Ut. or further north Listz Ferenc ter

I enjoyed pottering about the city just jumping on and off the public transport when needed. I didn't see any drunk english people but there were quite few stag do's at the airport on the way back.

I liked it but would still recommend Amsterdam  Smiley
