i wanna be sedated!

i've not felt this excited about matchday for a very long time, certainly not last season. tuesday night i was a ball of tension before kick-off, a mixture of excitement and nervous tension - i felt like a kid.

it only sank in for the first time on tuesday night that dennis wise and gus poyet are at the club.

i saw gus stood in the dugout and i had a moment of clarity, everything made sense and god told me to repent for my sins. so i ignored it and applauded the team as they ran out.

i caught a few minutes of 'premiership years' on sky sports the other afternoon whilst flicking through, i saw gus score a goal for chelsea. it was a brilliant feeling.

i'm going to be cheeky tomorrow and have a wander around "behind the scenes" just to see how different it feels in comparison to last year.

I must admit, watching the duo discuss tactics on the side as opposed to having whistling and mad arm waving was nice. I watched wisey and gus talk on and off for about 5 mins before brownlie came on - so they have to take some credit for that last minute winner...

It is great to feel excited before games again.  For me, the moment I saw the players out on the pitch at 5pm on Tuesday having a training session I decided to forget all thoughts of realism and go with the positivity feeling full blown.
