Just read that Matt Heywood has joined Brentford on a months loan.

Apologies if this has been posted already.

So much for that security he was looking for.

I think it's in view... Checked the BCFC official site. Looks like Johnson doesn't rate him.

Think he'd do a job in L2.....he spends more time at the CG than Ashton Gate, so may as well return.

I'd have him back now with Wise and Poyet in charge, he would play much better under him.

likewise, never had a problem with him and think he'd do a more than adequate job in league 2. i'd rate him higher than ifil without doubt.

Ditto, think he could quite easily do a decent job for us in League two.

Wonder what sort of fee Brizzle are going to look for, if any?

He was too slow, and only played well from time to time.  Much prefer to have Williams on board

we need more than one central defender though and i doubt williams is much quicker than him as well!

regardless of his lack of speed, i thought that for the most part he was fairly solid although he was prone to the odd howler.

The sands of time seem to have clouded peoples judgement(sorry bout the mixed metaphor) but Heywood was absolute cack in his last 2 seasons for us.As already stated Williams is a far better bet
