Nah. I don't reckon. As much as it'd be great to see him here, he wouldn't sign on for the whole season, and I'd rather have a good player here for the long term that a spectacular one for a month.

key points from the interview:
woan let the club know about the offer, which allowed wise time to bring in david lee who has previous experience with youth teams.
brentford and brighton games cancelled as the reading friendly was one the club have been chasing for some time, pitch wouldn't withstand the 3 games in a week.
very close to signing the goalkeeper we're after, deal will be completed in the next 24-48 hours, complications due to the fact he's signing from abroad but football league approval has been granted (henrik moisander :--)
wise has one or two keepers in mind for the deputy spot as well as one or two other players that the club are either talking to their agents or to the players directly and a deal should be completed in the next week or so.
amongst those is a 'big name', the fans would be 'pleased' and 'fascinated' with him.
