Viva la France  Cool

Enjoyed that, more clowns than a circus, as much up top as Gazzza and acting that would put Mike Reid to shame.

i was looking out for the portugese tonight and seeing if the gameship malarky is all true as last saturday i was quite pissed and haven't watched the highlights

Point 1 - When Miguel got injured, he turned inside two players, twisted his knee with no one making any contact, actually injured himself to the point where he could no long continue. Guess who was complaining to the ref for not giving a free kick - Ronaldo and about 3-4 other portugese.

Point 2 - a france player got flattened by a figo cross, ball went back to barthez who threw it out of play so he could get treated. When the game restarted portugal threw it to a portugal player and kicked it straight out again by the corner flag and pushed up? (Sportsmanship isn't huge round there then?)

Point 3 - Pauleta's dive, breaks from the french defense cuts across the defend to try and get a free kick, trips himself up without any contact with a french defender and then complains when he doesn't get a free kick? Why wasn't he booked?

Point 4 - Ronaldo + Postiga both diving at the same time in the penalty box without much contact, ok it was impressive because it was so well synchronized that they must have practiced it in training.

Point 5 - Scolari - what a prize A prick, went to remenstrate with the officials after the game, thought it would be another germany argentina situation but it didn't kick off. Maybe if he taught his team to stay on his feet as opposed to diving around like they've been shot then he might be able to work out which ones are fouls and which ones aren't  :wanker: I hope fifa ban him   Cool
