9 goals in 25 starts in his first season is not to be sniffed at and I’m quite impressed from the club and player’s perspective that he’s signed a three month loan deal and risk ending up into the season without a club

Definitely the opportunity to impress and I can’t help but think that Wise wouldn’t have brought him here if he didn’t think he had a chance of cutting the mustard.  By the same token Wise must have had something good whispered in his ear about the lad to have scooped him up so quickly.

Can’t say he’s got me arranging a crescent of jazz mags in an orgy of excitement but at 21 with a bit of height and pace he’s close to a similar ratio to the last player with a bit of height we signed.  Rory Fallon, although let’s not jinx him just yet!

I busted my mates "wank crescent" once. I was in his house (he was out and had told me the back door was open) only to find a semi circle of softcore porn on the spare room baed including page 3 of the sun and the underware section of a cataloge. I've only just recovered from the mental images now. true story.

Llloyd Opara, Jon Stevenson and Ben Martin have no connection with this lad whatsoever. They are different players, different people.

Whether he succeeds or fails has nothing to do with them whatsover.

Move on.

Going back to the last point but two.

I love the idea of a 'wank crescent'.

I am slightly alarmed though, that some one might actually masturbate over page 3 of The Super Soaraway Sun

Indeed. A certain Mr A King said at this time last year he was going to replace Parkins 25 goals a season with..... Thorpe & Cureton.

Turns out he'd have been better off forming a wank cresent over pictures of Mooney and Parkin playing together.

I was pointing out the flaw of an argument - Although our record with "risky" players from lower leagues is not superb.

Believe me when I say I want the guy to be the find of the season.

At least he will bring some strangth and drive into the game, aswell as pace. The problem recently has been weak players who haven't been able to take on the opposition.

It is a risk of course but we know nothing about the guy so have to give him a chance.
