Didn't think he was having one until something like the 14th. But if I'm reading this correctly he's having one tomorrow. Lying bastards, or I've just missed something.

Although first time I saw it I mis-read it as "Rooney poised for menstural scan". I was pretty worried for the poor lad.

they brought it forward a week otherwise if it did come back bad news for some reason on the 14th we would be unable to replace him

Anyone else still pessimistic about his chances of making it?  There is a nagging doubt in my mind.  And even if he does go, he won't be match fit, so surely Defoe should be in the squad as well.  Sven is a loony.
