Really hope it wasn't McPhee, but he is a desperate man. Only good thing would be that he appears to want to play for us, unlike other unnamed strikers we have had recently.........

Technically if you are contracted you are part of that organisation. The point I was trying to make is McPhee doesn't have a contract with us.

Actually, I believe the players arent contracted over the summer period....for some reason I cant remember!

According to the majority of repots you read players are generally contracted to the club until 31 june.

for all but 3-4 weeks over the summer, the players aren't involved with the club - so why wouldn't they be contracted?

anyway, i'm sure we pay them wages through the summer.

Yeah what youth said. If they weren't contracted for that period they would leave the club and be free to join other people.
