They have hours on the training pitch to sort their fitness out, the fact that niether of our last 2 managers gave a monkeys about players physical conditions is where the problem lies.
They're young lads who player football not dieticians and doctors. All very true and i think the lack of fitness is all about the poor pre-season and bad regimes of the managers, I just don't understand the mentallity that says "A night out before the game won't do any harm."

Spot on about pre-season.
I honestly don't think a Friday out (IF they are) does that much harm provided they are sensible. A few quiet pints and they'll be OK, an all night bender is of course different.

I've never seen the players out on Friday night, management however! umm... Although I didnt see them, they were out in Nottingham on a friday night. I'm sure we all remember the result of that one...

They're young lads who player football not dieticians and doctors. come on, be fair. iffy identified fitness as an area which he was determined to sort out this summer, there was only so much he could do during the course of the season. however, the fact he's reputed to go out drinking with our players didn't help.

Sadly Dave I think there has been too many benders.
I agree that a couple of pints can't hurt all that much I just think that as a footballer the weekend starts on a saturday night, not friday.

At one point it seemed I couldnt go in to Yates without Nicholas being there.
As for not knowing Dave, we know. Thats a fact. We know who's on it in Swindon and who isnt.

Mafia-esque Nah, theres no prohibition, its all legal. Just football supporters who talk to each other. How it should be. You dont want to be known as a pisshead, then dont be seen as a pisshead. End of.
