I lived in & around the town and watched Swindon for many, many years. I now live in London so coming to a home game costs me over £60 minimum in just travel & ticket, hence I go to more away games, new grounds and all that. I don't know if any of you travel far but I reckon that home fans who want to come and live more than a certain radius, mileage (and can prove it) away from the ground should be able to buy slightly discounted tickets, season tickets so it is more feasable for them to come and support the team Surely a small discount is worth it to get bums on seats and people behind the team?!

No personal offence to you but as a Swindon resident it would piss me off that I have to pay more to support the local football team than ex pats.
There is also the question of how far away you would have to live to qualify as large sections of our hardcore support live in O*fordshire, southern wilts tc.

fair comment people, just thought I'd open it up. I like us all want to see more people at the county ground, and I'm just trying to come with ideas ways for people like me who live in london to travel to home games, that's all, we all know how great western trains charge the bloody earth. anyway I'll still be there suporting!
