devlin speaking live on ssn now, when asked if wise would have money to spend he explained about the new investor (power) and that not giving the new boss the tools with which to do his job would be silly.

sounds as if we'll be spending at least a bit of cash in the summer... perhaps i'm blinded by optimism though

On official site with Wises latest interview, he does sound very promising.
Players back in early for pre-season and assessing them all individually hopefully should sort out crap from the class (if any).

Will be very interesting to see who he brings in but having already raised the profile of the club with him and Gus joining, may attract a better array of players who are more likely to choose us over other clubs of the same standard.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

That made me laugh quite a lot Cool

Wise has obviously been given some money to spend. By his standards, not that much but by Swindon standards a fair bit I imagine. I don't think that makes us the Chelsea of the 4th division though!

That's the funniest thing I have heard since Saturday morning when I was having a bit of breakfast in McDonalds. There was a family sat right behind me and one of the kids was running around, nothing that bad, I hadn't really taken any notice until the mother screams at the kid, "Sit down Beaujolais!"

Fucking top stuff.

Great to hear the players will be earning a living next season and Mr Wise likes his players fit and strong.

Seeing Poyet play for Swindon will be awesome.

It is great to hear we will have half a midfield next year!!! And I would say we are okay up front.

Just need to sort out the defence and a keeper if Rhys leaves.

I think now Rhys will stay. Unless a decent Championship club come in for him which probably won't happen.

The whole attitude of this club has changed recently.......great excuse to stay and also avoid uprooting his family
