few points from devvo for those who can't listen to the interview:

nicho close to signing, wise felt it unfair for the contract to be withdrawn

wise will decide on jenkins and paul smith (negotations not going far with smith thus far)

stefani definitely going

seano delaying signing

rhys given a revised offer as good as we can afford, wise will be consulted but could stay

cureton's decision to leave made post-wise

iffy was made aware that the club were intending to talk to wise

why dont you want him. if he did stay, i've no doubt he get us 20 goals next season, and help us do well.

I don't think I could have any more respect for this man.

Cheers for posting that up sonic. And good riddance to Cureton, says I.

why is everyone getting on curos back.  he might have an attitude problem, but id rather have a dikhead who got us 20 goals a season, than a nice lad who got 5. for all we know, he might well of decided to stay now we have mr wise, but if the fans are going to continually get on his back, then i dont really blame him for leaving.

then you're a fucking tit mate, would you rather see a team of half commited pricks get us relegated again or have a bunch of lads who'll give a fuck about this club and us get some sense of stability?

fucking moron

Good interview with some interesting points.  I cannot believe how things have turned round in the last three weeks.  There is now hope where before there was none. Devo is a top man - credit where it's due.

And before any of the manic depressives start chipping in with 'Yes but...' and 'Oooh you're so naive....' etc etc

I am sure you have lots of very valid and well thought out points but I say to you in advance.....

fuck off  Cool

Just enjoy the fact that we have a little bit of hope. No ifs not buts, don't over-analyse it. Enjoy the moment Beers

Interesting timing, would he have stuck around if Iffy had remained in charge?

I would expect from Wise that his team are going to be worked very hard, with his team defending from the front.  Not exactly where you want to be if you are over the hill and not too interested in work rate.
