Perhaps we should have a book swap.

Pull names out of a hat and send them a book to read.

Im a massive massive nerd arent I Cheesy

I'll do that, I'm always trying to fob books I love onto people who aren't really interested.

BTW I think I'm probably more of a nerd considering how excited I got when I saw there was a book thread that I hadn't started Cheesy

I've done about 4 on here already, plus I made J1mmy lose it on thisis back in the day after ruining his big brother thread by talking about Orwell, which started everyone discussing their favourite books.

I'll just send you The Plot Against America if you want it.

My old dear bought me that for my birthday but I haven't got around to reading it yet.  I got the impression from the back she was making a statement about how difficult it was to raise me Cheesy

No, although she did have to cancel an evening out once to sit in on a police interview.  Snidey bint, I'll have to find a book about disappearing mothers, or the effect of smacking kids around the head Cheesy

 Soapy Tit Wank
Eric Blair Smiley ,he's buried in Sutton Courtenay,i've been to his grave Sad
Of course 1984 is his best work, but i do think Homage to Catalonia is also brilliant, his Essays collection from Penguin is great too .
