Great news, this really is the end of the King era!! And that is the main reason I'm happy if Iffy has indeed gone.

Time to move on and having a manager like Wise and Poyet in charge will only raise the profile of the club, which can only be a good thing. I think the King era ended when King left

I think the King era ended when King left  Yeah but the King regime were still in place. Onuora is a product of the Andy King managerial school of "AAARRRGGGHHH" [Even though I feel a little sorry for Iffy] With a new staff at the club we can once and for all stop blaming Kingy!!! Though that'll never end. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swindon_town/4989058.stm

I think Reeves SHOULD go, don't get me wrong but if we are having a coaching clearout then it's only right to do it properly. He has been a great servant of the club and I'm grateful for that but it's time to move on - and it's painfully obvious his work as a defence coach was just not up to scratch.

The BBC have just confirmed it on their website. Verbally agreed deals with both DW and Gus and contracts are now being drawn up as per their discussions.
Blimey, this has all come around bloody quick. To say I never saw this coming is an understatement.
A tinge of sadness for Iffy but to be completely honest, we had a squad that should have been just about good enough to keep us up. Granted he inherited a right mess from the AK era and I'm by no means blaming Iffy solely for our relegation. That said, the drop usually means someone's head in on the block. Bil and Mark D clearly feel that as we've hit rock botom, the time is right for a clean slate.

Im pissed off. Iffy has been treated disgustingly. Well it's not the first time Swindon have made a mockery of the managerial appointment process. I agree with you in the sense that it's obvious that Iffy thought he was staying but Sir Seton Wills is the man that has kept this club alive and I think if he doesn't want Iffy in the job then that's how it must be.

I can imagine yeovil innocently walking up to wise and doing a picture pose pretending to put him in a head lock like he did to jerel and some of the others. But wise thinks he's serious and starts beating yeovil up.
