I'm fed up with King because he's had a fair crack at the whip (he's one of the top 15 longest serving managers in the country at one club apparantly) and we're still in this crap league.

He once played for Everton - that's bad enough for me!   Tongue

Dave - didn't realise about the top 15 business, but I assume with it being such a voilatile job its not surprising.  He has been given his fair share of chances, and the threat of him sueing for unfair dismissal is surely an empty one.  If he went, I'd feel sorry for him as I do like his post-match interviews, (e.g.:  He went down more than my missus) but at the end of the day, if it is what it takes to get us out of this division, then so be it.  I am very interested to see how our talented squad would fair under a change of management.  The squad is somewhat improved since the days of Coppell's help.

I read that Ronnie Moore will be leaving Rotherham at the end of the season, he's done fairly well there...

Rotherham have got new owners who don't see Moore as part of their plans. He's done a fantastic job there.

Seriously...  I think both sides are wrong in this instance.  Some fans like Reeves4England, Johno etc. are satisfied with King and will probably have valid reasons for it.  There are a host of reasons for supporting King, and he is a likeable guy and does give interesting, funny and passionate post-match interviews which I appreciate.  However, to call other fans idiots because they are against King is well wide of the mark.

when have i called people idiots for there opinions, i have been saying i respect peoples opinions, but when like in the town end yesterday, people have a go at you for it, why shouldn't you have a go back!?

In fairness Johno, you are not as guilty as some but:

"3-0 up and being depressed about king being in charge and winning is not on!
you know it is stupid."

You know there is more to a season than a 3-0 victory over a very poor, bottom of the table side.

Because it may have saved the job of a man who won't get us out of this Division

To be honest, the context of it is irrelevent - for anyone to threaten and boo a bunch of young lads for supporting their team is fucking stupid. Booing your own manager when your team is 3-0 up is equally stupid, even though I do agree with you.

but then again you have to admit, that if the town end had roared "andy kings barmy army" at 3-0 everyone would be on here saying "aaah everyone's so fickle"

yeh very true, it is good that people still stuck with their opinions

my main complaint was that people just couldn't accept being wrong. it was really immature and stupid.
