Thought it would be interesting to see how people on here view their luck, especially given the team we support.

None of that glass half full crap, just do you think you are a lucky person?

I consider myself to be a lucky person, and I think that a large proportion of the bad things that have happened to me have been my own fault.

Ohh you're gonna get bad luck now....

Yeh I seem to be pretty lucky, though the bad things that happen to me seem to be my own stupid fault.

you make your own luck. sort of.

that said i don't think i'm particularly lucky nor unlucky. every mistake i've made has been my own fault.

In terms of breaking my back and supportin the Town I'm clearly quite unlucky, though I feel very lucky to have put myself in positions whereby I risk breaking my back.

I think the lucky element of the whole ski season far outways the unlucky side of the injury.

I'm down with that.  If you expect good things to happen they will, but most of it is getting yourself in the position to be lucky in the first place.

If you expect the world to land at your feet sat on the couch you'll always end up disappointed.

Other end if you expect shit to happen it will and seems ten times worse.

I concluded that most the shit things that have happened to me I can pretty much trace back to my own fault, yet I've had some pretty lucky breaks (some of which I've probably screwed up). So, I went for lucky even though the evaluation it's self ended up being slightly on the depressent side.

If all the pointless posts were taken out then this forum would be empty. Infact my post count would be pretty near zero.

I wonder if there is an add on you can get for these boards which shows you when you most post. I reckon the majority of mine will have been at 2am after drinking numerous bottles of wine, probably staying up all night to have an msn conversation with village at 7am whilst knightmare is on challage. Happy days.

To be honest I've given it up for a more healthy life style since about feb time. I'd like to think it coincides with the down turn of quality conversation on this forum Smiley.

Was ace whilst I kept it up but ulitmately a bit depressing. although there was a nice transition period where I'd just start drinking earlier but go to bed earlier aswell.

Just got back to uni at the weekend and see me heading into a bit of a relapse. It can only mean more random quality late night posts, devlin's diary and maybe a comic or two, at least until my rather limited funds run out. Or maybe not. Maybe the time I spend drunkenly chatting up my mate's housemate will pay off and I'll have something better do....

Right I better go check what was happening in the comics and devlin's diary before the last time I lost interest.

Nice one FB.

On the subject of luck I just got booted on a $10 tourney with an AA first hand.  Fucker called all in on the river with nothing and pulled off a flush of clubs.

Can't complain though played it spot on.  Heavy raise on pre and post flop and it was a crapshot so you have to build up a stack fast or you're buried after a couple of hands by the blinds.
