Anyone playing much of late?

Old uni mate has just won 100k the twat, quit his job and buggered off to Oz and Thailand.

Managed a decent 40th out of a 5k freeroll to win a £200k free package to the world champs and a $220 7th placed spot the other night.

The big win is just elluding me but it's on the way I can smell it.

I'm playing now, Lucky $1 on pokerroom. Definately finishing in the Top 100 of 1,200, already in the money positions Cool

Nice one brother.

I've cut down on the low stake comps, and have upped it to the $10-$20 level.

Suits my style of play where I can sit back and play decent hands aggressively rather than wade through a sea of loose players willing to call anything on a whim.

Haven't really played much recently, due to lack of time.

I was getting pretty good at the low stakes pot limit ring games on royal vegas, had made about $80 just playing 5 cents big blinds on the 6 player tables, long term plan is to build up a decent bankroll and then move up to higher limits. Being very cautious though and I've taken a lot of my winnings out so it'll take a while.

I withdrew all the money I won on pokerroom so I can only play freerolls but I haven't really played since winning $25 for 6th/2400.

I'm not going to play real money games again until I start working as I'm too skint at the minute.

Might start doing freerolls again though, not really given them too much of a go.

Party poker gave me a $20 bonus as I hadn't played there in a month so I entered a $1 tournament, got kk early on. Raised got reraised raised again with two other people calling, got rereaised again so went all in, three people called.

They had A8, J6 or something and 22, I was winning until the river which was an ace, so the guy with aces won. That site is fucking crazy! three people calling all in with shit hands. Don't really care though as I was only playing with the bonus they gave me.

The players on party poker are crazy, standard is shit, but they are lose and aggressive. Means you either win big or lose big. This time I won.

Always tough on those low stake tourneys and freerolls for the first hour there's to many loose players who will call anything on the back of the pot and very little else.

I think KK is something like 38% chance to get beaten on all in so I'll always try and least see the flop before rsking my entire chip stack.

Played that last one spot on though Ben.

With the KK I was trying to get rid of a couple of the callers just because it's not so good against a lot of callers but I was reraised pretty much all in anyway so got to the point where if I'd have had to go all in after the flop anyway.
