I watched the remake last night, what the fuck is it with super fast Linford Christie zombies? They're supposed to be slow and cumbersome like an inbred cousin. Other than that it was quite good, not much similar with the original and lacks the somewhat cheesy charm of the original but good nevertheless. Much gorier too.

7.5/10

Not quite 28 days standard but definately worth a watch.

Bit of crap ending after all that action for me.

i've seen both dawn of the dead films, and liked both.

i thought the fast zombies was a nice addition; i liked the bit at the start where the husband was running after the woman driving a car, then saw another lady in her garden so ate her instead  Smiley

thought the ending was a decent twist too, these films aren't always meant to be sensible.

Fupping ace, and actually quite funny.

You know like portable DVD players you can get? We watched Blair Witch 1 in a tent in the woods once, that fucked us up pretty good.

Hellraiser is good because it's so macabre and sick!

That could have been serious fun with the right chemicals.   Cool

Good film just a victim of it's own sucess.  The hype from the States said that viewers were vomiting and scarpering out of the cinema.

Saw something similar with aliens on Sky once, had just got in from being out on the beer but it was superb.

Yeh, we'd been on the beer and the jamaican baccy (never a good mix).

It was quite surreal actually.

I can't remember the ending of the original but I thought the ending of the remake was just too sudden and tacked on. Quick, we better kill off a couple of people before we end the film! Got on my tits a bit.

Still enjoyed it though, think I prefer the original. 28 Days Later is pure class though. What are the other Living Dead films like?

How did Pogs work again? I can't remember - thus why I'm asking.
