I thought the defence looked shaky today everytime the ball came near them! Whats the point in having three centre'halves if they still cock everything up?

Midfield was always way too crowded to get the ball down and do anything. Besides, they tended to play hoofball up to shortarse Cureton, completely bypassing all the midfielders.

Brown made some good forward runs in the second half, but spent most of the first half as a full-back, and hoofed with the rest of them. Iffy undoubtedly told him and Smith to get further forward in the second half.

If we play like this on Tuesday, we will get destroyed!

I thought the problem was having Platt centre midfield. With the wind and trying to control it, surley Pook, Migs have better control.

Hartlepool players played to the conditions. We didn't.

Not sure bout that Pook comment ^^

It annoys me when professional footballers can't control or pass a ball. It is their job

Let's clarify something. Yes Ifil had a bit of a mare but prior to this he'd been doing very well. Yes he can't pass but I didn't see Sean or Smith or Jenkins swinging 50 yard passes around.

Jerel looked fucking gutted yesterday. He cares. Too many don't.

But O'Hanlon had a good game that's the main thing, i couldnt agree more with the comments about Smith and Jenkins though.

Brown never received the ball! When he did we looked dangerous.

Ifils distribution is embarrasing. I don't see why we just don't play a 4-4-2 and let the players do what they are good at.

Evans
Smith O'Hanlon CCP Nicholas
Shakes Whalley Diagouraga Brown
Cureton Peacock

Brown and Shakes both give us pace, Brown is dangerous whenever we get forward plus he has Nicholas overlapping. Smith gets forward a lot aswell. O'Hanlon and CCP are both decent centre backs.

This 5-3-2/3-5-2 bollocks is doing my head in.

you're right, in fact i'm going to delete all of the football related discussions and close the forums as we're not managers so can't discuss football.
