Any chance of him not getting booked anytime soon, now he's out of the stockport match too after being booked on Saturday. I know it's the nature of his game that booking is always a risk but you are letting the side down a bit if you are always out of the squad.

Seems to have lost the plot a little recently.  we need the beast back on form as soon as possible.

Maybe Kingy will play Dukey at centre half when he's suspended.

No Johno, the fact that Reeves has played so much this season, is probably an indicctor of why the lads are performing so badly.

Another player quoted today as being at his lowest point.

With Ifil and his lapses you can see the benefit King is currently rumbling about when he talks about needing a "talker" or leader on the pitch.

As much as other players can assist the ultimate responsibility lies with King, sitting in the stands chewing a cigar is not going to benefit the likes of Jerel Ifil very much.

Not talking about some of the fools you see with arms like windmills for 90 minutes  but the likes of Wenger and at this level Peter Taylor and Brian Little instruct to the players when necessary, usually on the touch line if at all possible.

What you're saying is, we need a "coach".  Someone to coach our lads during the game, which we don't have right now.

There's nothing new in Ifil's moment of madness each game. He's always done it but the difference this season is there is no one with vision and pace around to anticipate his "schoolboy error" and get us out of of trouble unlike last season when O'Hanlon and especially Nicho were there to clear up the mess and clear off the line.

I wonder if schoolboys, who make mistakes whilst playing for their teams get accused of making Swindon Town mistakes.

Or whether they get pissed off when TV commentators accuse them of making stupid mistakes.  Surely there's a case there for deformation of character.  Johno go and see your lawyer.

or a electric shock device attached to his groin that will allow me to send 40,000 volts via a remote contral through that area when he switches off during a game. the muppet

Ifil is what you might describe as a high maintenance player.

Not from the management's point of view, but from his teammate's point of view.

All the defenders that play with him know that he has NO attention span  and not too much positional nous. As such, whoever plays alongside him knows that not only do they have to keep tabs on their own man but also on Ifil's.

His "Schoolboy errors" stick out like a sore thumb and even the most blinkered fan can't help but see them. What doesn't get picked up by most of the fans is the running commentary of "Jerel ! Where's your man ?", "Jerel ! Step up.", "Jerel ! Tuck in." from his defensive partners.

It takes a particularly self centred type of person to say "Sod it. He can look after himself." Since Swindon actually doesn't have anybody that falls into that camp what happens in reality is that nursemaiding Ifil actually reduces the effectiveness of everybody that plays alongside him.

Is your real name Sean O'Hanlon?
