No, i think that he is saying that we seem to have one every week for something or another ,either an ex players gerbil or something less trivial .It does tend to lose the effect when its done for the sake of being done.

I personally would have only chosen to adhere to the London bombings as it affected this country directly.

Great idea but would require a cull of them to get enough shells.  Still, at least they would have died for a good cause.

Or you could just wait for enough of them to die that you had enough shells. Not sure how long they live for but it can't be that long.
