You would have to be seriously optimistic to think we could avoid the drop if we don't get a good points total from our next couple of home games.  Chesterfield have given up the season, being one of only 2-3 clubs that had nothing to play for a month ago.  We simply have to win 3 out of 5 games coming up to give us a chance.

I think the only way to get out of our overall predicament is to give Chesterfield a good rout like a young doe straight out of John Doyle's private video collection.

Get some confidence flowing through the side.

All I can hear in my head though is the Scotch Man from Dad's Army wailing "were doooooooooooooomed" over and over in my head.

Colchester had lost 5 in a row or something and not scored in 7 before they played us...I bet Chesterfield are rubbing their hands together!

That said, I am predicting a 4-2 win

I'm not expecting much Sad ,at least their confidence will be as low as ours except they haven't got anything to play for and we have.We need to win but as usual this season when we've needed to win we haven't managed to do it,i can't see Saturday being any different inspite of Chesterfields bad form Crying

I don't beleive in form. End of the day it all boils down to the day of the game and who performs the better.

It won't be a classic, i dont think!  I fully expect a Rotherham-esque performance from the lads.
