Betamax, wow that's going back a bit.

Betamax was supposed to be better than VHS as well, but from memory I think VHS got promoted better and came out on top.

Luckily our first video recorder in the 80's was a VHS.


You are right. The quality of Beta was far superior. Bit of a shitter getting rid of the old beta and buying a VHS. Thats Why I made sure that I bought a dvd payer that could play +/-. Didn't wanna get caught twice !!  :?

I saw the original one on Sky last Sunday, was quite good, so might go and see this one tomorrow night.
