The like/dislike button just became a tool for hitting like or dislike regardless of the post made due to peoples like/dislike of that individual.


I recall that one poster had a particular dislike of the old karma system.

Just having a like button potentially gets round this although there may be subsequent gripes about not having enough likes.

I think that if you are using a platform to unfairly attack people or spread and encourage harmful behaviour there should be consequences. Like today's Julie Birchill apology.
