Oh mighty TEF, HELP!

Sky is not working this morning, I suspect because of the overnight snowfall. My planner and on demand work fine, just normal TV.

The dish appears to be covered in a layer of snow. Could this be blocking the signal?

Ever grateful for assistance....

It probably is the snow blocking the signal to the LNB, like when it rains hard and the signal is lost. If you can reach it, try brushing the snow off gently with a brush

And then turn it off and on again if that doesn't work (not joking)

We had this problem until I brushed the snow off the dish and turned it off and on again...works fine now.

But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

As this is the 4D forum, thought I'd just check - do you mean your Sky TV isn't working or do you just mean that because of the snow you cant see the sky this morning ?
