Emperor's Kitchen on Moredon Road is pretty good.

I've used Lee's over at Peatmoor recently, not too bad but I'll watch this thread with interest. Toothill Chinese Kitchen was good a few years ago but I think the owners upped sticks and moved to Brizzle. Rendezvous in North Swindon was/is OK too.

I always go to Welcome Express on Devises Road although my takeaway of choice at the moment is the fresh hand rolled sushi from UK Sushi in Stratton - amazing stuff.

Word. Although I had some where the prawns were not fresh. There was nothing wrong with them, just tasteless, previously frozen ones. I do love it though, although cheap it isn't.

And Samdy, I used to love Emperor's Kitchen, until I ordered what seemed like a bargain meal deal thing. The dishes turned up and were only half to three quarters full.

I phone to complain and get told, what do you expect it's cheaper... They then said all their customers know this, so it's tough luck. I won't give them a penny after how rude they were after giving me fuck all food.

the Shanghai by Faringdon Road park is really nice, well worth a trip in/take away.

Mulley, that UK Sushi is good then? I've been a little cautious of trying it...

Me & the kids had a nice take away from Rice & Noodle's in Gorse Hill on Saturday night. The food was nice & you got loads of it as well. There was about 6 dishes for just under £14.

I am pleased it was ok, we went there a couple of months ago, walked up to the counter, looked at the bike parked against it and the general dirt all around and decided to give it a wide berth!!  Went to the North Star on Ferndale Road - would not recommend that either.  Would stick to Oriental Express on Cricklade Road (Clive Parade) - at least they got five stars for cleanliness!

I think we got a takeaway from there on Saturday night (Is that the place that used to be the Lotus)?

It was pretty good and would order from them again.
