Maybe if people didn't sing for hours in the pubs last time, they might have created some atmosphere in the stadium where it mattered? Have to admit going to rammed pubs with singing going on isn't top of my list.

Are there pubs near to Wembley Park station? Not sure my party will want to walk from Stonebridge park to the pubs near Wembley central.

Result aside, that was my biggest regret from two years ago. Belting atmosphere in the pubs (and for all the talk of the Green Man and JJ Moons, there seems to have been a cracking atmosphere in quite a lot of pubs)...and then it fell so flat in the stadium.
Hopefully the singing areas will rectify some of that this time. I'm not going to have too much opportunity for pubbing before the game this time around. It's all about Wembley and the game this time around. I've completely changed my mind about the JPT. First cup win in the offing during my lifetime. Can't come soon enough now.

Last time the poor atmosphere was partly down to the fact we played so poor but mainly because everyone was spread out. With larger crowds it also takes longer for songs to spread about and you will get one area singing one song and another a different song at times. Something like give us an S will be hard unless a group start it. And short songs don't work, but songs that last for a while will soon get picked up by everyone and I think it will be a far far better atmosphere with the singing area. All I ask is when we song We are Paolos red and white army, please don't start clapping and ruin it. Why do we do this?

It needs to be kept as simple as possible Sunday, Millwall managed to create some sort of an atmosphere quite simply because they had their one song plus 'miiiiiiiiiiiiilll' that doesn't mean it has to be all the same songs, but just the simple ones. As much as you lads at the back of the Town End like to amuse yourselves with some of your newly made up songs, it's not a day for it (apart from the Alan McCormack one, that could work) Persistent chanting of 'Paolo DiCanio' 'We are Paolo's Red and White Army' 'We are the Red and White Army' and 'We are the Swindon, we're top of the league' will catch on and won't be finished by the time people four blocks away have had the chance to realise it's started It also helps that 'Come on you reds' is an option this time

Perhaps other people need to start some songs rather than relying on a group of people who will probably represent the tiniest fraction of the Wembley crowd?
I think people are worrying too much, the fans who want to make noise are more organised this time. It'll be like an away game with a massive crowd. Plus our generic chants are simple enough for a spastic to learn the words as they go along.

I await the Simon Ferry song from 30,000 fans. It'd be joyous. http://gobarbra.com/hit/new-82d8c2fd8a719f7740fda77f5e332483
