Apologies if this has been posted before - I haven't seen it, but haven't read all of the matchday thread.

http://theseventytwo.com/football-league/league-two/2012/03/05/easy-street-ends-on-the-a420-oxford-united-2-swindon-town-0/

Can anyone who went say if this is a fair opinion of the match?

Pretty accurate to be fair. Although this bit isn't how I remember it:

"Paolo Di Canio lifted the spirits of the travelling fans at the end, but was soon drowned out by a sea of yellow kindly asking him to vacate the premises."

There was a massive roar from Oxford at the final whistle and obviously singing but once Paolo came over and all our fans starting clapping and singing, I didn't hear Oxford again besides the pricks that stayed behind for ages up near the segregation. Hardly drowned out; but admittedly our noise is probably louder when you are in the middle of it.

He is right, it does hurt though. I thought I wasn't that bothered as long we get promoted but I am still feeling deflated today, hopefully a decent win tonight will renew the enthusiasm. When we go up at the end of the season this feeling will be a distant memory

Deluded if they thought that the 'Sea of Yellow' drowned us out at the end.

On the radio all you could here was Swindon fans - and I'm not joking

I suppose it was Radio Wiltshire, so they may have put the microphone near the Swindon end maybe ?
