On two counts today.

First of all i met an old social worker of mine before Christmas, lovely lady who helped to bring happiness to my good self as a lad at The Limes kids home in Stratton, imagine my joy when she informed me she had photos of me and my sister from those days, bearing in mind i do not have ANY photos of me as a child then recieving them today was great and my wife and my children had a snigger Cheesy
Fairly emotional to as there are other kids on the pics that life in later years wasn't so kind to Sad
Should look at the positives though and it was a splendid suprise.

Also with my 50th birthday on the horizon i have been informed that a season ticket for next season could be a way of wishing me a VERY happy birthday, can a season ticket be bought for next season yet?
I sincerly hope so but i doubt it.

Not yet Leefer. Your small tale bought a warm cosy feeling to my inner soul as I don't have hardly any of me and my family growing up thanks to my parents fighting and destroying things.

Yes she did,she is only 8 years older than me and she was brilliant..........especially towards my sister who found things very tough at The Limes.
Anyway i will keep an eye out for ticket details.

They're not on sale yet but a swift email to Nick Watkins might get you somewhere, worth a go, he's got to be in a good mood this week!

Leefer, really pleased for you. My wife bought me a season ticket several years ago and has ever since which makes me feel guilty just buying her normal sorts of presents for hers. Perhaps me being at the County ground on a Saturday is all she wants ! Can't see no reason why you can't provisionally book a seat that isn't taken as its in the clubs interest.

Just taking this forum into account you just don't know where people have come from and the stories they have led.

Your posting Leefer was a special one.

Don't know who you are but you just seem one of those people in life who just smile through it.
Of course I could be wrong but you always seem to be a happy bloke.

Fair play to you and your posting. The World needs people like you.
