David Ginola, Joan of Arc, Amelie Mauresmo, King Louis XIII, Frederic Michallak, Michel Platini, Jean Christophe Novelli... your boys took one hell of a beating!

That is awesome though ain't it, good on the commitee guys for putting the bid together, hope the country really gets behind it.

"Kinky TomSo are we going to enter a GB football team for it then?  That would get quite a lot of attention.

Apparently that nice man Mr Sepp Blatter said that he has no problem with it as long as the 4 FA's can work something out...so no chance then.

I believe the women's beach volley ball is scheduled for Horse Guards parade, or is it Whitehall........I've also got a feeling the host city can have a sport included for a trial or something.....we should go for darts.

Twenty/20 cricket, if it's not already in by then.

So are we going to enter a GB football team for it then?  That would get quite a lot of attention.

Unfortunately we'll have to ....this is a downside, because FIFA may use it as a lever to try and get rid of the home nations having 4 votes....its the main reason why we never enter a team.

Darts would be better as its indoors......Andy Fordhams pub could be the venue.

This is the sort of impact Seb Coe was hoping for when he talked of getting young people involved in sport.

I bet Leigh Mills is taking a particular interest in whether we have a football team entered.

We'll have to enter a team called GB,  the Sweaties have already stated they don't want to be part of it.. fair enough ...its unlikely, like the Lions they'd have anybody good enough....

There has been talk of Hampden getting a game.....that's taking PC too far.
